  1. On medium heat, toast chili flakes in olive oil for a minute or two until chili flakes start slightly brown.
  2. Add stock, onion, carrot, green onion, mushrooms, dashida, hondashi, salt and meat of your choice. Bring it to boil.
  3. When the soup starts boiling, add soft tofu. Break it into smaller chunks using a spoon. Bring it to boil. Crack in an egg just before serving or boil until the egg has been fully cooked.
